Hello, My name is Tiffany Brown and I have an extensive profile when it comes to my experience with children. I have recently graduated with my B.A in Psychology and am geared towards my M.A in Mental Health Counseling focusing on young children and adolescents. I have many passions in life one being wanting to help those in need of help focusing towards a better future, as well teaching and molding young minds for the future. I believe I received the passion from my Mother who has owned her own Licensed Day Care for over 18 years, starting out helping her I migrated into working in other facilities with age groups ranging from 0-6. I have worked at Collin Allen Day Care Center, Mt.Vernon,NY for over 5 yrs, I started out as a teacher's assistant and then soon became a temp lead teacher for ages 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6. My duties included creating daily lesson plans, and supervising children during indoor and outdoor play, I am a very creative person so I enjoyed my job more than ever. My other duties included preparing lunch and creative snack ideas which I would allow the children to assist me. I love my job working with children mainly because I feel while doing I can be as creative as well children are sponges they want to absorb everything which makes the job such a joy. I have trainings completed as well I am scheduled for my CPR certification training. I understand how important it is to place your child in a safe and stable environment because thats what I would do with my own child whom is 21 Months and a happy bouncing boy.
