Hi! I'm Jade and I'm a 23 year old Australian living in Vancouver with my fiance and our two cats. I am the eldest of four (one of whom has ADHD, Aspergers, Epilepsy, and ODD) and a regular babysitter back home in NSW. Since moving to Vancouver about a year ago, I have been babysitting for friends on and off. I adore children and enjoy knowing that I am able to help busy families. I am studying classical history at university and have been an avid reader my entire life. I truly believe that nurturing a child is inherently important to their growth and success later in life. As such, I don't believe in silly questions or 'annoying' behaviours. I believe it is important to encourage a child's sense of curiosity and reinforce their safety and security in their home life. I have an endless supply of patience for looking at LEGO or scribbled art on the fridge. I have a strong interest in teaching a child through play and engaging with them in the things they love to do.
