Hi there! My name is Jonae. I recently moved here from California, where I took care of my seven year old nephew around the clock since he was a baby! I am 24 years old, have some college experience and a high school diploma. I also have experience caring for groups of children. As a teenager, I worked after school with a montessori school caring for a small group of 3-9 year olds. We had so much fun! I'm a very creative person, and love doing arts and crafts. I love singing and watching movies, I'm a kid at heart so I find it very easy to relate to kids. It's important to me that children get respected and listened to, and I've always strived to be a good role model for them. I'm eager to help anyone, in any type of household, no matter how diverse! I will only have transportation via public transit, but I am very good with animals, having a kitten and a bunny currently and a lot of experience with dogs. I also am pretty good at cooking dishes kids love, because usually I love them too! :) I have experience with children with challenges such as ADHD, autism, etc. and work best with children from ages 3-12.
