My name is Candice and I am a single mother of three, ages 13, 8, and 6. Since they are all in school during the day, I am looking to care for children and/or adults ideally between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm Monday through Friday. I have an associate's degree in applied science/respiratory therapy and worked in the field for 11 years before my own health issues no longer allowed me to work 12 hour shifts. However, I am still quite able to care for those with special medical needs such as application of BiPap/Cpap machines, medication administration, and tracheotomy care/suctioning. My experience with these needs is limited to adult care so, I have little experience with the pediatric population so far as special care. However, if there are small children who need basic "mommy" care, I am fully capable of handling them, light house work (meals, laundry, dishwashing, etc.). As I have three very well educated children, I don't mind passing on my secrets of the trade if your little ones need help with reading, writing, and math (I.e., preschool/kindergarten readiness). I am a very compassionate and patient individual who loves to help and nurture others. So while my children are away during the day, I'd be honored to care for your loved one while you are away.
