Sitter in Simi Valley, California

Hello there, I'm Nicole, a current Cal State Northridge student studying Sociology to become a Social Worker. I am completely available until school is in session on August 29. I implement lessons I've learned through child development courses at CSUN and Moorpark College into my child care services. I also have a degree in Theatre from Moorpark College that brings out my playful and creative side. A large portion of my experience is from when I provided care for two consecutive summers to two girls from 6am-5pm Monday-Friday and Saturday nights for a single mom. I managed to keep these girls busy for 60 hours a week. Our typical days would start with non-intimidating chores. Once the chores were completed then we would bike, swim, take the dogs for a walk, or go to the movies. On more adventurous days we would go on a hike, to the beach, to Underwood Family Farms, or to a family friendly event I found in The Acorn, Happenings Magazine, or AAA Magazine. Some more things about me: Outside activities are my preferred way of passing the time. I love animals (especially dogs) and I am comfortable around creepy crawlies and slithery critters. I have been missing arts and crafts (my second preferred way of passing the time), I just haven't had the time for them lately. I'm always finding cool new DIY projects on YouTube that look easy. I drive a 2011 Ford Focus. I am eager to begin working and I look forward to meeting with you and your children. Nicole Adler
