Sitter in Sacramento, California

Hello! My name is Megan Ferris and I am a third year student at Sacramento State University. My concentration is in Recreational Therapy and I would like to work with children/adults with developmental disabilities for my future career. Working in this field (obviously) requires experience, so I am looking for all different kinds of situations and experiences! I am 20 years old turning 21 in September. Throughout high school I worked in the nursery at Fremont Presbyterian Church all 4 years. On top of this, I helped out in various activities the church put, for example, VBS (vacation bible school), here I worked as a leader guiding a group of kids in 2nd grade walking around and enjoying the different outside activities. I currently am still working at Fremont, however now I am working with kids ages 3-10 years of age and I have been doing this on and off for 2 years. Since I attend school in the fall/spring, my availability is somewhat scattered throughout school time. However, during summer I am pretty much free all day every day. I also work walking/housesitting for pets as well so I have a few clients during the afternoons (from 12-1 usually) that I go and take care of.
