Hello, my name is Lisa Andrews. I have been in childcare for slightly over 30 years. I have taught children ages 2-5 through out my career.I started out working in a Montessori School in Durham NC, During my time there I obtained my GED and my Montessori credentials for children ages 3-5yrs. Also while working there I became a mother and my son attended school there from age 2-6yrs of age.During that time I divorced and we moved to Pittsboro .Then I started working in Pittsboro and Siler City day cares and went to college at night and took classes online as well. I had to take a break from school while I helped care for my grandmother before she passed. I have only a few more classes to take before receiving my associates degree in early childhood. I am now wanting to find a family that I can help care for their children and pets too if needed. I am looking to enjoy life with a family and their children instead of a classroom consisting of 1 teacher with 9 children in a classroom if possible. I am looking to simplify life just a bit if possible as I am growing older. I have my own car and clean driving record,clear criminal back ground check,first aid and CPR certificate. I love teaching and helping children grow and learn.The smiles and laughter are priceless to me.
