About Me: Without a doubt caring for children comes second nature to me. When I lived in Chicago, I was a teaching assistant at Scott Joplin Elementary School located in the south side. There, I helped an enormously sensitive demographic of children reach their educational goals such as implementing personalized techniques to keep children, especially those diagnosed with ADHD, focused and encouraged to enjoy homework. I was also a reoccurring camp counselor for children ages 8-18 diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Alongside behavioral health technicians, the kids are taught healthy boundaries and coping mechanisms with our use of de-escalation and reinforcement behaviors. I have years of experience as a nanny. My duties were bathing and dressing, cooking and feeding, potty-training, educational activities and crafts, arranging playdates/outings, homework help/ tutoring, indoor/ outdoor play, housekeeping, and transportation Service Abilities: I have experience with play date supervision, meal preparation, and children's crafting.
