Sitter in Peterborough, Ontario

Hello, I am 43 I live in peterborough in the westend in the kawartha heights area and a ece student at fleming College and also a special need mom. I have two years experience as a babysitter. I am looking for a position such as a babysitter, help with online schooling or even looking after your child in your home. I like doing crafts, reading, doing activities with children. I have my cpr, first aid and police check all up to date. I also have my three covid shots. I pick ECE because I like to make a difference in a child's lives and I feel I have a lot to give as the skills I achieved through my schooling. I have hands-on experience with Autism as both my daughters are special needs. I have seen so many special needs children get left behind due to the extra support they need in a daycare or school setting. I like to help and provide additional support for the team. To administer a child to learn, grow, and be a part of a community, seeing a child grow and learn and gain knowledge and being a positive role model is the most fantastic reward. I have the biggest heart, and I will always help others out when needed, and that I have a great sense of humour. My promise is to reach for a seven on the scales, to give children the best play-based learning experience we can give to any child in our care. To provide a safe environment, caring educators are willing to engage with children, through play-based programming. I will engage with children in my care by letting them take the lead in their learning skills as I help to keep children engaged in play and offer different learning opportunities.
