Sitter in Burtonsville, Maryland

Hello, my name is Berkit. I'm a child care provider living in Burtonsville who is caring and want to care for your children. As long as I could remember, I have always worked with kids. When I was 15, I became a tutor at my community's homework club. Prior to that, I was a camp counselor for two summers. The students called me Bubbly Berkit and always came to my station for a good time, whether it was arts and crafts, storytime, or learning how to play the ukulele. The kids truly respected me and listened to what I had to say without ever raising my voice. I built very special bonds and the kids felt like I was someone who they could confide in. One of the community leaders saw the special connection I had with the students and she referred me to her friends and clients. Next thing I knew, my sister and I started a babysitting service in our community. We worked together for four years. I have experience with all age ranges and ethnicities. I grew up in a very diverse community and understand Spanish and Amharic. I'm very open-minded and a good listener. Also, I have been social distancing very well ever since the lockdown.
