Hello! I am 21, I began babysitting when I was 14 years old and ever since children have been my passion! During high school I was a nanny for 2 families. One family had 3 children and the other had 2 (ages between 2 and 9). One child with mild special needs. I have over 100 hours of volunteer work as a student teacher in my church's child care center (ages newborn-10). I came to NIU perusing a degree in elementary education. My courses included child development, child care, special education, and early education. During this time I was a nanny for a local family with two children (ages 2 and 4). After about 8 months the mother received a new position that requires them to move. After 3 years of school I now have to take time off of school to save up for student loans. I felt there was no better way to do that than follow my passion working with children. I look forward to hopefully hearing from you!
