Sitter in Brooklyn, New York

I currently work as an Assistant Teacher at a Montessori Preschool ( WeeCreate BK) in Bedstuy. In my spare time I've found myself babysitting some of the children who I teach at school. However I love to have engage the kids while having fun. Montessori training has helped tremendously when it comes down to extending my services to those families in need of temporary care for their child(ren). I'm able to teach them and still have fun. Going to the park is a must. It allows the children to develop socially. It also allows them to feel free without too many restrictions. During the summer months I like to visit local places like the Prospect Zoo, Botanical Garden, Brooklyn Kids Museum. In the fall/winter months if the weather doesn't allow us to be outside. Reading, creating art projects, allowing the children to tap into their imagination is best. With prior sitting jobs I normally start in the morning until the hours of 3-5pm. So there would be the initial meet up whether in house or at the park. Then according to what is planned for the day will come next, lunch and then a nap if requested. I enjoy interacting with kids on a daily basis. Refernces will be included
