I have known Kaitlyn for over 20 years and have watched her care for children and she truly has a kind, nurturing personality as well as a fun, energetic spirit. Kate is creative and keeps those in her care active and engaged. Whether she is being paid as a full time nanny, baby sitting in the evening, or hanging out with neighborhood kids, little ones are drawn to her charismatic energy and her fun attitude. Parents appreciate that their children are safely cared for and that their rules are enforced. Kaitlyn is not afraid to discipline appropriately with clear expectations and consequences. She works well with all age groups (infants through teenage boys and girls). Kaitlyn has positively impacted some of her charges during their formative years (middle school - preadolescent years) and they have even contacted her seeking personal advice beyond her working relationship with their family. She is responsible, nurturing, and experienced and should be at the top of anyone's go-to list of sitters.

Kaitlyn's generous heart and positive personality make her an excellent candidate to be a childcare provider! I have known Kaitlyn for 10+ years: first as her tutor, then as a student in my high school classroom, and, finally, as a friend when she graduated and moved into adulthood. She is hard-working and kind, with a natural ability to understand and care for children. My own two granddaughters have always looked up to Kaitlyn and love when they get to spend time with her. She will find out what interests a child and build a relationship with that information. She keeps the children in her care occupied with positive influences to support their growth in a variety of areas, but perhaps one of Kaitlyn's strongest skills is her ability to carefully listen and show that what you have to say is important.
