Hi, my name is Jason Perlman. I am a recent Emory University graduating and am now currently working in a lab helping better understand patients with spinal cord injuries and how to best aid them in regaining function. I love working with people, especially children. I have worked with children for as long as I can remember. When I was 11 I started volunteering with therapeutic horseback riding for individuals with different physical and mental disabilities, and continued this until I left for college. I spent a summer working at a summer camp, living in a cabin with boys ages 5-6, and another cabin with boys ages 10-12 and coaching gymnastics for all ages. I have worked on a petting zoo where we had thousands of kids coming through weekly. I also currently teach gymnastics at the YMCA to both girls and boys of varied ages. I am free most evenings and also most of the day on weekends. My schedule will change as the school year rolls in. I love pets and have no problems with large animals.
