Dear Family, I come from a family of 5, myself included. I have 2 little dogs and have always grown up with dogs and Guinea pigs. I am an active member of Westerns varsity track and field team. I love being outdoors and travelling. I am recently a Nutrition and Dietetic graduate from the University of Western Ontario. So I am very passionate about food and healthy eating. Throughout my university career I have been involved in numerous programs concerned with nutrition and healthy eating with children and adolescents. For example, Let's Get Cookin', a program through the Middlesex Health Unit, I had a leadership opportunity where I showed children what goes into a healthy meal and how to prepare it themselves! I lived in Spain for the summer as an Au Pair (a live in nanny essentially). I was able to build on my communication skills and was trusted as a family member to watch over their 3 little girls ages 3, 5 and 7. My duties included and were not limited to: supervising them swim, making them meals (beakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner), playing games, and putting them to bed. The family was able to welcome me into their family as a big sister and I loved every moment of it. This was an amazing experience and I hope to instil positive memories for children in my own country as well. My current job as a patient transfer attendant certifies me as an Emergency First Responder and advanced first aid with CPR. I used to be a lifeguard in high school, although my certifications are not up to date I would not doubt my abilities to supervise children in a swimming pool. I am energetic, responsible and dedicated. I am looking to work mornings and during the day. I have my own vehicle for transportation. I am able to clean, cook, run errands, look after pets and babysit your children. Hopefully we can talk more :)
