Recommendations

Shayna C

To Whom it May Concern, It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Sylvia D’Addario. Over the years, I have known Sylvia in two capacities-as a coworker in a child development center then as a parent of a child in that center. As a coworker, Sylvia was friendly and welcoming. I worked at the Center two afternoons a week. As an experienced full-time employee, Sylvia was often in charge of making sure all of the tasks were accomplished each day. She was able to delegate these responsibilities with a smile. In addition, she ensured that the daily activities flowed in a timely manner. She worked and communicated effectively with all of the employees in the center and was viewed as a friend to all teachers. Later, my child was attending the center with Sylvia as one of his main teachers. My son adored her and talked about her often at home. We were one of the first families to arrive each morning and Sylvia worked the opening shift. She opened the door promptly at 7:30am and was ready to welcome all children and families. Drop-off can be a difficult time for children, but Sylvia was always there with a hug, calming words, and a fun activity. Her presence makes a difficult transition feel much easier. Sylvia is a wonderful teacher, coworker and friend. She was an integral part of our school’s community and helped to create a warm and loving atmosphere. Without reservations, I highly recommend her for any position for which she applies. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions. Sincerely, Shayna Cooper Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, Parent
