My name is Kayla and I have been in care providing since ive been young. I cared for my cousin who has Down Syndrome during summer breaks. During the school year I would care for neighbor children and while at school I would volunteer for the sped room. After graduating high school I worked for a daycare center working with the younger group classes. After getting an opportunity to work with mentally disabled adults I cared for a couple clients at a time helping them through there day at work. Assisted in administrating medication and assuring they met monthly goals. After working for them I was a in home client mentally disabled adult assisting and helping through is daily tasks. Administered medications through feeding tubes. Changed and washed laundry and cooked meals. I also cleaned the main areas my client would spend a majority of the time. Care providing isn't just a job but a passion to help the ones in need that reach for there own max independents.
