My name is Sarah Powell. I'm 20 years old and graduated Glendale high in 2015 as well as completed 2 years of dual enrollment at OTC. I was dually enrolled at OTC in the Early Childhood Program. I took 9 classes in the program and completed around 400 hours working with the preschoolers. I'm passionate about kids and love taking care of them. I have 3 kittens and 1 cat so I'm perfectly fine around animals. I've babysat in the past for 4 kids at once of family friends ranging from ages 2-9 and I babysat them for 2 years; my sophomore and junior year. I helped take care of my baby sister when I was 6 up until she was able to take care of herself around the age of 5 when I was 11 and still continued to watch her when my parents were away. I'm always positive and love to do things with children. At OTC, I did lesson plans and activities so I could even bring activities for the kids and me to do that is developmentally appropriate.
