Hi my name is Josie M. Knott, I am a young 56 year old woman of color. I live here in the city of Montgomery, Al. I moved here to Montgomery to care for my grandmother, she went home to be with the Lord in the year 2000. I have 3 grown children and I am the grandmother of 7, which my two sons are military so I do not see my grandchildren often. I worked with heart patients for 20 years, and taught school for 9 years. I am currently working part time at East View Retirement Community, I have been a caregiver most of my adult life. I love children, it was a joy raising my own, and the time that I get to spend with my grandchildren is Awesome. I am a wonderful cook, and your children being the ages that they are and me having been working with kids already and raising my own, I can help the oldest with their school work at the same time being able to carry on your teaching.
