Hello parents, I have recently decided to provide child care for children of all ages. Taking care of children is something I have always loved doing since I was younger. My favorite job in my teens was as a summer camp counselor but as life would have it, I was placed on a different journey. I ended up in the medical field but have never let go of my desire to own my own family daycare. So this year I am making a decision to leave my job after nearly 13 years of dedication and do what I love to do which is providing care to children. I have four children of my own who are all older now. I have a 22 year old daughter, an 18 year old son, a 16 year old daughter and a 13 year old son. So if you're looking for experience boy do I have it. I originally wanted to work out of my own home but if the situation was right I wouldn't mind traveling to someone else's home and providing care. I am however looking for something stable because I am leaving my job and pursuing this full time. I am willing to negotiate where we are both comfortable with the pay and able to live. I understand how hard it is to find childcare and wanting to have a career at the same time. I want to be sure its the best fit for all of us including the child and or children. I am very dedicated to making sure you feel your child is in good hands. I will not just care for your children as if it's a job but as if they were my own. It's scary placing your children in the hands of a stranger so please feel free to question me and get to know me so you can judge my personality on your own. I am an open book and I have nothing to hide. While working in the medical field I have learned to do CPR so I am certified in that area. I plan on teaching the children in my care as well. Trust me they won't just sit in front of a tv and watch movies all day. I love reading and I would love to share some of my favorite childhood stories with them. I want the children in my care to love books. I also would love to make crafts and teach them other things that will benefit them in life. If they are very young that would include teaching them how to read and write and if they are older I would teach them things like typing with the parents permission of course. I am not the best with sports but I am willing to take them to the park and other out door recreations. Since I am leaving my job I would need to put in a two weeks notice out of courtesy, so if interested just be aware of timing so I can start caring for your children after that time.
