Child care worker for 5 years. Experienced with age ranges from 6weeks-13 years of age. I enjoy doing arts and crafts and engaging with children. I think it is important to give children a safe and appropriate learning environment and focus on their needs and interests. My favorite thing is seeing a smile on a child's face. I am majoring in human services and child Psychology at Old Dominion University. I am a senior this year and 21 years old. My recent job was an infant care teacher where I provided primary care to four infants every weekday. Over the summer I was a summer camp lead teacher where I planned field trips and daily activities such as crafts, games, swimming, obstacles, scavenger hunts, etc. I am CPR, First aid and Medication and Administration training certified. I understand children are special gifts and treasures and believe they should be treated as such with love, kindness and patience. Less
