Sitter in Clarksville, Tennessee

I'm an
Individual
I am a CPR certified nursing student with experience in childcare. I have worked as a counselor for summer camps for two years, as well as being a home care giver for almost a year. I am friendly and outgoing, but most importantly responsible. My main interest is to provide children with quality care from someone who will not only sit there and watch them, but will also interact and assist in the beautiful process that is raising a child to be a responsible and creative member of society. My personal interests include art, reading, sports, among many other things. I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get actively involved in playtime. I am also experienced in tutoring and would be more than willing and able to assist children in school related tasks such as homework and projects.

I previously worked with Lorrain as a tutor for students with special needs at Antillean University. To give a little background, the program is known as TRiO, and they provide tutoring services for students who are first generation college student, those who struggle with mental illnesses, and also those with learning disabilities. Lorrain worked specifically as the Nursing and English tutor for TRiO. Lorrain is a great person who demonstrated a well-developed understanding in Nursing and English, and went above and beyond with her work. She showed tremendous patience with the students and developed structured plans with them in order to help the learning process easier for them. Many students felt comfortable approaching Lorrain for help because of her understanding of both materials. Nursing and English cover a broad area of the courses offered, but Lorrain was able to explain in detail whatever material was brought to her and in a form that was easy to understand for the students. Not only was Lorrain knowledgeable and approachable, but she was also responsible. During her time in Antillean, she juggled two jobs, one with TRiO and another as the assistant to the receptionist of the university. She arrived on time, demonstrated professionalism and always had a good attitude. For all of these reasons, I would highly recommend Lorrian Alicea.
