Nice to meet you! My name is Carina and I am a big sister, an auntie and a former teaching assistant who loves children and grew up taking care of them. As a former assistant educator I have worked with kids of all ages including high school and middle school. Most recently I worked at Kindering in Bellevue, WA in their Stepping Stones toddler classroom where I ran art, snack, circle song time and got to play with some amazing kiddos both typically developing and some with special needs. I assisted with separation and in teaching kiddos how to manage their emotions and encouraged play and learning. Even though my college education is currently on hold, I was an education major and have received training in general education, special education and early childhood development. In working at Kindering I formed relationships with families who later hired me as a babysitter and part time nanny. I currently work a full time job M-F but it is remote (I am currently employed with The Salvation Army Finance department in Seattle, WA) and my contract will be ending at the end of December. I am searching for part time opportunities to care for kiddos in the evening and weekend, however, I am toying with the idea of being a full time nanny as I adore teaching and playing with children. I have supervised up to 6 children by myself and am comfortable going on adventures, helping with home work, helping kiddos tidy their spaces and driving to fun places. I also used to own my own pet sitting company and am very comfortable with all kinds of pets! I am also a singer and artist and teach voice lessons and LOVE doing arts and crafts. I would love to connect with multiple families to be their "date night" babysitter or even possibly a nanny to the right family.
