Hello! My name is Makayla. I am currently studying Child Psychology and Early Childhood Education at Johnson County Community College. I have cared for a variety of age ranges. I worked in my church's daycare caring for infants to age 6. I also did peer tutoring, where I helped high school students with autism perform school work tasks. In addition to working with high school students, I was employed in the Olathe School District as a Para educator, working with preschool student from ages 2 to 6 years. I currently am employed with Pediatrix in a few hospitals as a newborn hearing screened, working with newborn babies as young as 8 hours old. I nannied for a wonderful family for about a year with 2 children ages 7 and 8. I would love to care for more children to gain experience and be an aide in their development!
