Hello, Everyone! My name is Chealea (“Shay-Lee”) and I am a 25 year old, married mother of two amazing boys. My youngest is ten months old and my oldest is four years old, quickly approaching preschool age. I am looking for a family in need of either part-time or full-time care for children ranging from infant to school age. My ideal family would be open to live-out arrangements and would feel comfortable with our children being around one another regularly. I am anticipating leaving my current job no later than June 1st, but sooner if possible. I would absolutely love to take care of your children with the same gentleness, guidance, patience, love, and quality care I handle my own children with. As for my background, I have experience in childcare as I have been working at my current daycare since July of last year (2023) and have previously served as a volunteer in our Church nursery and have babysat for friends in the past. I am experienced with children anywhere from two months to five years old in the daycare setting, but am comfortable with older children as well. One of the most important things about me and what I believe sets me apart from other caregivers is my faith. I do not believe I have to be paired with a family of shared faith, but because of my values, I do strongly believe in loving your children and caring for them the way they deserve. I will always have the upmost respect for you as parents, I will guide them as you see fit and give them the best I have for any developmental stages they are growing through. I am joyful, fun, gentle, patient, easy going, very motivated, and focused. I am seeking a family who is able to pay $12-18 an hour, but I am open to negotiating for the right family and the right fit. My ideal match would be in need of care Monday through Friday, but I am open to Saturdays from time to time. I hope to hear from you soon!
