Hello! I've been a private nanny over 15 years, I have early childhood education credits & experience as an infant/toddler teacher, preschool (ages 2-5), and a preschool director. As a nanny, I use my education teaching experience to guide children in their cognitive, emotional, physical, and artistic development. I have my own early childhood education books and materials that I use with children. What I love most about what i do is seeing the delight in a child's eyes when he/she "gets it." My favorite sound is a baby's giggle. The "light housekeeping" I provide is picking up/organizing after the child's activities and after the learning activities I do with the child. I also clean up after breakfast, lunch, and snacks. If the household dishwasher holds clean dishes, I am very happy to put those dishes away so that I can put in the the dishes I have used preparing food for the child and what the child uses. My husband and I have been married over 40 tears and live in Temecula, CA. We are both originally from Michigan and have lived in the Southern California area since right after we were married. My husband is a mechanical engineer, and I also have been a flight attendant for Delta Airlines and have paralegal experience.
