Hello there! My name is Katrina, and I am an experienced caregiver and nanny here in the beautiful town of Sedona. I have a passion for working with children of all ages, from newborns to primary school-aged kids. I am available for part-time or occasional care for your young ones. I provide full-time care in time-limited situations, such as extra support through a post-partum period. I provide a creative, dynamic, nurturing, and secure environment for children to explore, learn, and grow. I have a passion for early childhood education, with experience as a forest school teacher connecting children to nature through place-based, play-based, emergent, inquiry-based, and experiential learning methods. I bring a balanced approach of compassionate presence while providing the security of healthy boundaries. I utilize a child-led learning approach to build confidence and develop personal agency while supporting with reflection and developmentally appropriate stimulation. I also am passionate about providing care to the family through the post-partum period. Whether it be nurturing the new mama so that her cup is full to nurture her little one(s) or providing stimulation and love to new older siblings navigating a big transition, supporting in this tender space brings me deep joy. As a live-out nanny, I offer flexible hours and personalized care to accommodate the unique needs of your family. My rate starts at $30.0 per hour and I am open to discussing additional roles that would make your life easier (including meal prep!).
