Hey everyone! I wanted to introduce myself and share a bit about me. My name is Naomi, and I'm originally from Ecuador. I speak fluent English and Spanish. I'm turning 19 this year. I have been babysitting formally for over 3 years now, but always been around children. I’ve always had a deep love for children. And it might sound cliché, but my biggest dream for as long as I can remember has been to be a mom and have a big family. I've volunteered at CLA’s nursery and summer camp a few times, and it's been such a rewarding experience. Being an older sister has definitely given me a "mother instinct" too, haha! I have taken the Red Cross Emergency Child Care First Aid With CPR/AED curse, so i have my trained first aid certification. When it comes to babysitting, I pride myself on being extremely patient, caring, quite creative, adaptable, and open-minded. If needed, I can also help with cooking and cleaning. I'm really passionate about gentle parenting, sensory activities, and brain development exercises. I love diving into psychology and it’s always been a topic that fascinates me, especially when it comes to understanding kids' psychology and infants' brain development. So far I’ve had the opportunity to formally babysit for 7 families now with kids from 6months old to 12years old. In addition to my experience, I have also had the opportunity to work with kids on the spectrum and nonverbal. I'm familiar with handling emergencies, although I'm thankful that I haven't had any yet because I tend to be super overprotective. Haha. I do have a preference for working with smaller kids since I have more experience with them. I'm extremely empathetic and caring, and I love teaching with love. If there are any animals at home, that's a bonus because I love them too! Just to let you know, I'm fully vaccinated and willing to wear a mask if required. As for the pay, my usual minimum rate is $20 per hour, but it honestly depends on the number of children, their age, and the tasks involved. (I have references too for those who may want to contact them, all parents i’ve worked for) Please note that I currently do not have a car, but I am committed to being there for you and your little ones.
