May 28th, 2022 To Whom It May Concern, Debbie Grundie has worked with my family for 4 years now. We found Debbie on Care...... She came with a glowing reference from her past employer, with whom she worked with 3 young aboriginal boys with learning disabilities. It was important to me that I had a reliable person with lots of experience raising children. I hired Debbie just prior to the birth of my third son. Debbie was responsible for looking after my newborn baby, a 2yr old and a 4yr old. Debbie was responsible for many duties over the last 4 years. She drove them to school, took them to various activities after school and throughout the summers. She prepared frozen breast milk, formula, baby food. Debbie took my kids to dentist appointments, doctors appointments, and after school activities. She also helped us immensely with the over bearing amount of laundry a family of 5 can have. Debbie helped vacuum and mop, and the house was always tidy in the main rooms when I came home. Debbie occasionally did grocery shopping and meal preparation. Debbie also stayed with my 3 children for 1 week while my husband and I went on vacation, looking after over night routines, etc. Her dog Lexi accompanied her at work, and was very calm and well mannered. Lexi got along well with my dog and the children. Debbie is a structured individual who thrives on routines. She is good at setting boundaries with the children and teaching them routines. Debbie often played card games and board games with my boys. Debbie worked with each of my boys on learning to write their names, pencil grips, learning the alphabet, letter recognition, printing, etc. My children grew to love Debbie and will miss her dearly.
