Hi, my name is Anca and I am looking forward to helping families with children aged 0-3. I’ve worked with children of all ages and in different settings for the past 6 years. I have a masters degree in Psychology and I’ve worked in a psychiatry hospital, a daycare, a Montessori school and as a nanny for 2 families. Over the years, I noticed that my skills and personal traits are very compatible with babies and toddlers. I am patient, calm, organized, I pay attention to detail and I like to observe children so I can follow their developmental needs. My natural energy level is not extremely high but I have been told by parents and employers that children seem to calm down around me. I am very passionate about the Montessori Method and I like to mix it with gentle education and stay up to date with evidence-based methods of education. I have completed a Montessori assistant course at Foundation for Montessori training in Toronto for ages 3-6. I would love to meet families who share the same principles and values as myself. Currently looking fora short term position in December 2024. Will be available for full time starting February 2025.
