Hi there! I'm Jennifer, and I'm an experienced nanny/babysitter in Grayslake, Illinois. I have a passion caring for and teaching children, most of the families I have worked with in my life have remained friends of mine, and it has been an amazing privilege to watch their children grow into young adults! I am experienced in all ages…I began caring for infants while I was going to college, and after graduating I taught in Preschool & Kindergarten classrooms. I have expanded experience with newborns, as well as special needs children. If you're in need of a trustworthy and reliable nanny and/or sitter, I would love to help out. I offer live-out nanny services, sitting, as well as overnight care in your home for your infant if you need a good nights sleep, or for your children should you need/want to travel without them. My rate is $20 hourly (my overnights would be a flat rate) and I always strive to provide the best care for every child I am with. That being said, I also believe rates can be discussed, as I don’t want any family to feel they need to compromise their children(s) care due to their own life circumstances. I would prefer a long term steady commitment, but of course I’m available if you just need a date night, to run errands, or simply need a little bit of time for yourself too! I understand the importance of finding someone you can trust to care for your children, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I have a genuine love for kids and enjoy engaging them in activities that are both fun and educational. I am also willing to do anything additional to help out…cooking, cleaning, laundry, walking the dog…there is a lot that can be accomplished during nap times! I have my own reliable transportation, and I am willing to travel within reason, should you live a little farther away from me. I am quite flexible with my sitting schedule. If you are interested in a larger and more long term commitment, I am looking for a family who will also have the willingness to be flexible with my circumstances, and be comfortable to work around the possibility of the unforeseen, so I would would be able to fully commit in creating a stable schedule and environment for your children, while still being able to be the best mom to my three teenagers as well.
