I began working with kids while I was working towards my bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology. First I babysat for a family and then I transitioned into a Behavioral Therapist role in which I worked one on one with children of all ages and functioning capabilities. I remained in this position for 2.5 years and eventually became Assistant Manager. I have since moved onto another job but I still miss working with little ones and the joy they can bring. I am CPR and First Aid certified in both children and adults and have remained certified for the last 8 years. I also love pets of all shapes and sizes and am willing to care for them while in the home as well. I am open to cooking, cleaning, assisting with homework and school assignments, sleep and potty training, extracurricular activities, transporting to/from events, and working with special needs children or those with behavioral concerns. I am open to occasional, part-time, or jobs on short notice. I’m available Monday-Friday from 5:30pm- 12:00am and any time on Saturdays and Sundays. I am CPR and First Aid certified for both children and adults and have maintained this certification for 11 years. I have 2 years experience working as a lifeguard, so I’m comfortable with swimming/water activities. I worked as a registered behavior technician for 2 years and have experience working with children one-on-one and in a group in a variety of settings.
