Hey there! My name is Jennifer Granger. I am 28 years old, have a degree in Psychology and have been a full-time nanny for a little boy for the past 3 years. His family is no longer in need of my services since his mother has her summers off and he will be starting full-time preschool in the fall. That said, I am fully available and would be interested in a part-time or full-time nanny position or even just occasional babysitting. My 3 years as a nanny has revealed to me just how much I love children. My life doesn't feel complete without children in it. I have been married for almost 4 years, but we have yet to experience the joy of parenting. In the meantime, I consider it a tremendous blessing to contribute to the emotional, physical and spiritual growth and well-being of a child. I am a Christian, and my faith and values direct everything in my life, including how I treat children, how I discipline them, and what kind of example I set for them. As a nanny, I performed a wide range of duties for the little boy, including: bathing, feeding, changing diapers, dressing, taking him to doctor and dentist appointments, meeting with his therapists, taking him on outings every day, reading to him, playing with him and teaching him skills such as walking, talking, dressing himself, feeding himself, potty training, and various exercises to improve cognitive function and motor skills. I would also occasionally grocery shop for the family and I frequently straightened up the house, though it was not required of me.
