Hi! My name is Cassie, and I have over 6 years of experience babysitting and nannying, working with children between the ages of 6mo-10yrs. A little about me- I am 19 years old, and a rising Junior studying Computer Science at UCLA. I am bilingual in Spanish and English, and more than happy to spend time talking and reading to your child/children in Spanish. I began babysitting at the start of high school, expanding my network to working for 10 different families by the time I graduated. Some of the fun activities I've done with the kids I have cared for include going on adventures to parks, the beach, reading lots of books, doing fun art projects, singing. We make sure to find new ways to be creative everyday. My roles have gone past babysitting as well- I also taught one of my client’s children how to swim, tutored another in math/english and have done pet walking/house cleaning for families with older children. Last summer, I was a full time nanny for a 2 and 5 year old, and quickly earned the “best babysitter award” from both the kids (and parents). We would go on daily adventures to playgrounds, parks, beaches, to hang out with my horse and so much more. We made it our mission to visit every park in the Santa Cruz area, and made it to every public one (as well as almost each elementary schools’). I also helped the family keep the house tidy, did lots of cooking/baking, as well as school drop offs/pick ups for the 5 year old.
