I am the oldest of six children so my experience with babysitting started at the young age of 13. Not only did I care for my siblings, I started a babysitting club with friends that offered weekend babysitting services to families in the neighborhood throughout my middle school and high school years. While in college I babysat on weekends for extra cash.
After graduating college I worked in the corporate world until finding out I was pregnant with my son. I have worked from home doing some virtual jobs/consulting and pursuing a masters degree online while caring for my now 1-year-old.
I currently offer weekend care (mainly Saturday services) to my husband's employees that work on the weekends.
