Sitter in Hilliard, Ohio

Hello! I am Tessa and I am looking for a summer nanny position. My usual rate is $15-$20/hr. I am 25 to turn 26 this July. I just graduated with my Master of Music in Opera Performance (with honors!) at Oklahoma City University on May 7, 2016, and will be moving back to Hilliard, Ohio at the end of May. In May 2013, I graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids with a major in Vocal Performance and a minor in business. This fall, I will be starting my Master of Library and Information Science at Kent State University. I grew up in Upper Arlington, OH and graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 2009. I am a driven student and maintain very good grades (Calvin College Dean's List, OCU honors) while being very active on stage and in various activities. Besides music and acting, I enjoy reading, knitting, arts and crafts, and playing outside. I also absolutely love spending time with my retired racing greyhound, Izzy, and am a movie nerd! I am so excited to be back in Columbus where the zoo is and I am excited to get back to COSI soon. I most recently nannied for 3 school-aged children in Oklahoma City from June-August 2015, and have continued to watch them occasionally throughout this school year. They were very tech oriented children, so it was a challenge to get them to play outside or to go to the library, but we established a routine fairly quickly and they ended up really enjoying other activities. I am going to miss them a great deal when I move back home. Before that, I watched 3 school-aged children in Hilliard, Ohio from August 2013 to August 2014. I cared for them for 14-15 hours a day on weekends and during the summer, and before and after school during the school year. I drove them to sports practices, provided meals, and supervised homework and play. I also helped with laundry. They were very active children, and I miss them very much. I also have extensive babysitting experience: First, I worked for a family with three boys, two of whom were identical twins. They loved to play and to wrestle, which caused it to be a very active and physically demanding job, but one of the most rewarding experiences I have had. Second, I worked for a family with one girl and two boys aged 1-9. They loved to play outside so this job also proved to be more physically demanding, but what a fun job!
