My name is Nanette and my past experience and education has well prepared me for this position. To begin, at present, I am going into my third year studying Metalsmithing and Jewelry at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. I come from a large family and have acquired a lot of experience in childcare through working as a counselor for the Armory Art Center's summer art camp, volunteering as a junior- counselor for the ARC's Special Needs summer camp program for the three summers prior, and working at the Jewish Community Center's Camp Shalom as a lifeguard. Through these experiences I have completed American Red Cross courses in CPR, AED, and Emergency oxygen. I have also acquired a lot of experience in childcare through volunteering with my Girl Scout troop for a number of years. Secondly, I have been babysitting and nannying for families with children who have special needs, as well as for those without; infants and toddlers alike. I am fluent in English and Spanish, can read music, and specialize in art.
