Hello there! My name is Chessa, I'm a sitter based in Kingston, New York. I specialize in caring for toddlers and children in primary school and bring diverse experiences from the past 10 years including 2 years as a full time nanny for a toddler, teaching kids yoga and play based movement, tutoring, leading gardening, homework, and game clubs, and leading a multi-level girl scout troop. These experiences, coupled with my background in psychology, inform my philosophy that centers around fostering spaces where each child feels safe, respected, and supported. I bring my backgrounds and passion in farming, ecology, cooking, music, dance, and yoga to aid in the creation of these spaces. I am Pediatric CPR and First Aide Certified by the Red Cross.
