Hello families! My name is Ariadna, 28, from Barcelona, enjoying my 1-year working holiday visa in this beautiful area of Canada that is Whistler. I live in Emerald and I work as a bartender in a restaurant in the upper village. But I have always tried to combine any job I had with extra hours in providing childcare cause I truly enjoy spending time with children. I am available for part-time help in Whistler. I own a driving license but I do not have a car here, so if you have one and need me to drive I am open to it. I have been an Au Pair 3 times: first with a family from Kosovo, second with a family from Ireland and last time with a family from France. A part from that, I have been a part-time nanny many times, and I am used to help in light housekeeping duties, meal prep, pet care and more. I am very easy-going and always down to work and learn so:) I have worked as an English teacher for children in a school in my hometown, and I have also taught Spanish and English to the children I have taken care of. I've got the Leisure activities supervisor and sports instructor license, which allows you to manage groups of up to 10 children and teens. During that course you study a lot of psychology and children behaviour and how to properly treat them. I understand that each family is unique, and I am happy to talk to you to adjust to your needs. I charge a minimum of $25.00/hour.
