My name is Leanna and I am a certified teacher and spend my days teaching 4th grade. I have a bachelors of science in education and have experience caring for children from newborn to age 11. For about 4 years I worked at a daycare as a assistant group supervisor and lead preschool teacher. I absolutely loved this experience in being able to lead crafts, stories, field trips, and exploration with my students. During my 4 years as an undergraduate student I worked as an afterschool tutor and mentor for school age students. Through this experience I helped students/parents with homework, engaged students in educational games/activities, and mentored them whenever they needed a hand.
