Hi! My name is Mariza. I hope you are doing well and keeping safe! I am looking around to see if I can help out a family in need of a set of hands! About me: I have always had a passion working with kids. I moved to Chicago 10 years ago. Since then, I would often be asked by church members if I could babysit their children for them. I also had the opportunity to go on a mission to a children's home in Oaxaca, Mexico. This experience brought me to realize my love for kids that I started pursuing Elementary Education. I even took care of a group of kids within the age range of 4 and 6 for a short summer camp. From then til now, though I have shifted in academic passions, my passion for taking care of children have remained the same. Right now I am a nanny for a family that lives in Lakeview. I did nanny for another family but I was let go due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The family had decided that they would no longer need me as they will quit their job to focus on their children. Although it saddens me, I do understand and respect their decision! I am desperate to go back to school and am willing to do whatever it takes. Feel free to ask me questions!
