Sitter in Brockville, Ontario

I'm a 20 year old female currently living in Mallorytown, Ontario. I am hoping to expand my work experience, allowing me to build on my skills and knowledge about the field of work I hope to get into later on. Up until a couple weeks ago I attended St. Lawrence College in Brockville, Ontario for Mental Wellness & Addictions Worker. I made some changes in my life and ultimately decided that wasn't the career path I was meant for. Instead, in the future I plan on obtaining a diploma in the Child & Youth Care program, and later on getting my honours degree. While I was in high school, I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer in a kindergarten classroom for the whole first semester of my grade 12 year. Ever since then, I knew that I wanted to work with kids as a career. Before that, I babysat multiple families around my hometown in Brockville, Ontario, since I was 12, until I was 18, while working different jobs in between the babysitting schedule as well as my school schedule. The children I took care of were between the ages of just under a year, up to the age of 10, so I have lots of experience with children of all ages, and families with all different expectations. I'm a quick learner, a great listener, reliable, organized, and I'm a great multitasker. I'm always excited to try new things and meet new people, and I have a very positive attitude towards life.
