I have tutored since college, volunteering at one of the local elementary schools. I tutored one-on-one with one student for 3 years. I am the oldest of 3 and I helped babysit my siblings after school and on the weekends. I helped my sister with my nephew from newborn-age 8 helping w/homework, etc. Furthermore, I currently tutor my 5yr old nephew, 9yr old niece, 11yr old niece, 14yr old niece, 8 elementary age student(s), 4 middle school student(s) and 4 high school/ESL student(s). I have been tutoring foster children for over 5 years. I currently substitute teach in multiple ISDs, charter and private schools around the DFW area. I worked part-time at a private Catholic School in Dallas in their extended day program and now as a substitute teacher. I work/help in a church nursery and I also worked for a short time at Trinity Early Learning Center in Arlington as one of the 3 years teachers. I worked as an assistant teacher for Preschool through Junior Kindergarten along with school age students at a private preschool in Flower Mound. I homeschooled 3 sisters from March - May 2020, ages 12, 11 and 8. I also homeschooled/tutored 2 brothers from June - September 2020, ages 4 and 6. I have been working with two families that are related to doing, virtual school, homeschool, private tutoring, and summer tutoring. I work with 15 different children ages 4 to 16, grades Pre-K through 10th grade. Specialize in: - ELA/Reading/Writing/Reading Comprehension/Spelling/Vocabulary (All Grades) - History/Social Studies/Geography (All Grades) - Math for Pre-K through 3rd grade - Sciences through middle school (some Biology and Anatomy) - I tutor for all grades. - Test prep and study skills - Art and music therapies (new concept for me but continuing to learn) - SEL learning and concepts to help with anxiety, mental health, ADHD, and some behavioral issues. I do not work with anyone under the age of 4, unless they are 3 and close to turning 4. No infants/toddlers. I am a QPR Trainer and an Applied Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) Trainer. Currently working on my master's to become an LPC (mental health therapist).
