Sitter in Concord, North Carolina

Hi! My name is Lisa. I'm a 48 yo Stay-at-home-Homeschooling-Mom. I was a Live-in Nanny/House keeper before I got married 26 yrs. ago. For the last 16 yrs. I have stayed home to raise & educate my children but now I need to get back out in the world & start bringing in an income. We have 2 teenage boys that don't need me as much anymore so I'm free to care for other children. I can work our schedule around your schedule. I'm very flexible, days, nights, weekends, anytime. I’m available for Full Time care or Spur of the moment, emergency care (ie. My regular sitter cancelled & I have to go to work!). I’m also available for evening date nights or over-nights. I have lived in SW Cabarrus Co. close to Midland for over 6 years now. We own our home so I don’t plan on moving anytime soon, if ever again. I am willing to travel to Concord, Harrisburg, Midland, Locust, & Mt. Pleasant. For the right job I would consider traveling to Mint Hill or the University area. I recently had a back ground check done & I am willing to share that report with you. I can also provide local references upon request. Before I became a Nanny I was a CNA in WV. I mostly worked with the Elderly but I have CPR & First Aide training. I have also had some Leadership training from the Boys Scouts. While I was a Nanny I cared mostly for girls but I have raised 2 boys now and taken care of their friends so I have experience with both boys & girls. I can handle up to 3 (maybe 4) children ages 0-12. I'm able to come to your home so your kid(s) will be in familiar surroundings with their books, toys, foods, pets, etc. I do have reliable transportation and a clean driving record so I can take them to parks, libraries, friend’s houses, etc. I really enjoy reading to children, playing games of all kinds, & doing arts & crafts. With my back ground in Homeschooling, I believe everything can be educational as well as fun. I can help with homework or pre-school education. Being a mom I know that getting kids to eat healthy is sometimes difficult but with my experience I have learned a few tricks over the years. I am willing to make healthy meals & snacks if necessary. I can also help out with light house work, ie. Dishes, a load of laundry, pick up toys, etc. My rates will depend on the number of children, ages, needs, hours, and of course, your budget.
