Hi ! My name is Stephanie Patterson and I look forward to getting to know you and your family! I was born and raised in the Bronx where I still currently live. I am 19 years old and I have been babysitting since I was 14. Childcare has always captured my interest and has lead me to attend the College of Mount Saint Vincent ( Yonkers area ) on Riverdale Avenue , as a nursing major in hopes of one day becoming a pediatric/neonatal nurse. I have 3 years of professional experience working with Bronx and Manhattan daycares, after schools and summer camps with ages ranging from 3 months to 10 years old. I come from a big family of 2 sisters and 6 brothers where outdoor playtime and school work were always balanced and most important. Growing up my youngest sibling suffered from chronic asthma attacks , which caused me to be very involved in his health and also helped in my decision to pursue a career in nursing. Through the experiences I've been through with helping to take care of my brother I learned how to be quick to react when there is a medical emergency. I am not a smoker and I do not have my own transportation. Because I am very interactive and like going to new places and trying new things in NYC, I usually like to walk , take public transportation or cabs . In my personal time I enjoy dancing , reading and exploring different activities . I am very punctual, dedicated, and flexible with my hours when needed. I truly enjoy being around children especially toddlers and discovering their unique personalities .I am very much interested in being your babysitter .
