My granddaughter, Taylor, 8, and more recently her 4 year old sister, Zoey, consider Cathie more a friend than an adult sitter. That is a good thing, though you may initially question it. Cathie is so enthused around them, and treats them in a way that invites their engagement on a level that traditional caregivers don't approach. Especially Taylor, who has known Catjhie since she (Taylor) was probably 2 or 3, still looks forward to seeing her and filling her in on her achievements and what's going on in her life.Taylor considers her like an adult friend.
