Through high school I would baby sit 5 to 9-year-old children for about 4 hours at a time about once every week or two. I have cared for boys and girls alike as well as caring for an autistic child a few times. I have cooked meals for children as well as played with them and put them to bed. List of HS Achievements: Corps Commander: Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp (AF JROTC) For my entire High School career I had been involved in JROTC. My junior year I was club officer for an after school program for the corp. Our sergeant told me that I ran this club more successfully than any club officer had done before for this type of club. The beginning of my senior year I was promoted to an executive officer. I oversaw lower ranking officers to ensure the corps was running smoothly as well as assist the corps commander with his duties. Then in October, I was promoted to Corps Commander for my dedication to my corps. With my Corps Commander Job, I oversaw every activity in the corps and insure things are running smoothly; if there was a problem cadets came to me. That year was inspection year and my corps scored in the top 5% of all AF JROTC Units. The skills I have gained in JROTC will help me be a team player and a leader in pressure situations. The beginning of my senior year in JROTC, I took on the duty of putting on Winter Formal for the first time in 5 years. This was also the first time my JROTC unit ever put on Winter Formal.
