Hi Parents! I'm a 20 year old Filipina female Psychology student studying at Mount Royal University. I currently do respite and community aide work as well as casual childcare for multiple families. I have experience with children with special needs (specifically ASD) between the ages of 2 - 16 years old as well as working with adults with special needs as I volunteer at an art therapy program during the week. I have experience working with multiple children at once, whether it be twins or siblings (with or without special needs). I have gone through Positive Behaviour Supports training as well as in the midst of updating my First Aid/CPR and doing Mandt and Abuse Protcol in October. I absolutely love to arrange and go to community outings that range between doing yoga to going to coffee shops to bike rides an many more fun activities that your kid would like to do! I have my drivers license and my own vehicle so transportation is far from being a problem. I am very passionate about working with kids with disabilities aspire to be in this field in my future career (with hopes to become a behavioural consultant and art therapist).
