Sitter in New York, New York

I'm a friendly, upbeat, creative actor who loves working with children of all ages! In the seven years that I've been in New York City, I've worked as a full-time and part-time sitter and have taught theatre, music and dance to children ages 2-16. I've also worked as a dance and yoga instructor for UGOT Active Kids, a company that works to engage children in NYC inner city schools in a fun, stimulating way while encouraging a life-long love of physical activity. I graduated Summa Laude with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University and love using my skills as an actor to plan exciting activities that are tailored to kids' ages and abilities. In addition, I have worked with children with developmental and learning disabilities and am comfortable adapting to a variety of environments and family dynamics. I'm happy to help with homework, cooking, tidying up around the house and dog walking (I love dogs!). One of my biggest strengths is my ability to effectively communicate with family members; I believe that if we're all on the same page with family rules and expectations, children will be happier, more confident and comfortable adding a new sitter into their home. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a child learn, grow and succeed, and I'm excited to be a part of that journey!
