I am a positive, energetic mom to one toddler girl. It is through motherhood, I have acquired a new level of patience and gentleness that translates well into the professional world of childcare. With a BA in psych, I currently work as a mental health counselor (overnights) in an inpatient psychiatric hospital. This profession can be quite taxing on your soul so here I am looking for more purposeful work. I worked in a preschool for 2 years as a teacher aid. Helping children to learn and grow is such an important job that I am honored to be a part of. I also worked briefly as a night nanny. As a mother I understand how hard those first few months can be, sometimes with little help and sleep. My goal is to alleviate extra stress to ensure a pleasant transition into motherhood. I breastfed my daughter the first two years and developed a passion for breastfeeding. I would love to be able to help any mother with any breastfeeding issues or education. CPR certified.
